Welcome

Eric MillerWelcome to my blog where I share details about my journey in starting my own animation company.  I have dreamed of starting my own animation company since I was younger. Growing up in Ohio there were not many opportunities in the industry, so in 2005 I moved to Los Angeles to follow my dream. I had many interesting jobs until landing a dream job at DreamWorks Animation.  I stayed at DreamWorks for almost 7 years, but in July of 2014 I left to continue the journey I started when I first embarked from Ohio, to start my own animation company.

This blog is about both my successes and my failures along the way.  I will share what I’m doing and my thoughts behind the decisions I make.  Hopefully I will make more good decisions then bad ones.

I don’t know how this story will unfold, or even how it will end.  My hope is you can learn from both my successes and my failures to apply to your own life or businesses.  If you are interested in joining me on this journey my story starts here, or you can simply jump in where I’m at today.

The greatest success story, or the most public failure.

If you have not already, I hope you will join me on my journey by subscribing to my blog.  If you have any thoughts or advice I would love to hear what you have to say, so please feel free to leave me any comments below. Otherwise, be sure to stay connected with me on Twitter (@MillerAnimation). Only Time Will Tell.
